2011 Lexus RX 450h Review

Lexus unveiled the all-new, next-generation Lexus RX 350 and RX 450h Hybrid Lexus Auto Show Los Angeles 2008. The vehicle that launched the car-based luxury vehicle segment in use when it launched in 1998, is a completely new design and will continue to set new standards in areas that have made the best-selling vehicle Luxury Utility : innovation, style, performance, usability and comfort.

At the heart of the new Lexus RX models are two of the engines. Now in its second generation, the Lexus RX 450h will have a better Lexus Hybrid Drive engine with a V6 3.5-liter diesel that runs on an Atkinson cycle very effective. Another step in the evolution of Lexus Hybrid Drive is the addition of two new systems to improve efficiency. The third generation Lexus RX 350 will be powered by an improvement of 275 horsepower, the 3.5-liter V6 engine mated to an electric control, sequential shift six-speed transaxle. The exterior of the all-new Lexus RX has a strong and powerful new body design with the objective to improve comfort and handling. Inverted trapezoid design on the front and rear horizontally integrated embedded together with a pronounced shoulder along the profile RX. The new Lexus RX offers a wide viewing angle side of the track. True to its heritage, the RX systems of active and passive safety are still among the most impressive features of the vehicle. Lexus Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management available (VDIM) seamlessly integrates the individual systems, such as stability control (VSC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Hill Assist Control (HAC) and Traction Control (TRAC). Proactively works smoothly through throttle, steering and brakes to prevent skidding in corners before the car reached its limit of operation on slippery roads or other conditions.
 


The available Pre-Collision System (PCS) is based on packets millimeter-wave radar technology to identify the possible collision, Brake Assist and the first century, and returns to the driver and front passenger seat belts in anticipation of autumn.
